United We Can Make a Change!
Over the past two years the ASMBS Foundation has held a national step challenge to raise awareness of obesity in America. 2017 marks the third year of this challenge, and we are excited to have your support in sharing our mission with individuals all over the country.
This year we will hold a 24-hour challenge on October 31st with the goal of reaching 50 million steps, and raising 20 thousand dollars.
Get a head start by registering today and start fundraising!
Start by registering for free to take the challenge. Please note: you will be required to create an account or log into an existing account.
2. Join or Create a Team
During registration you will have the option to participate as an individual, join a team, or create your own.
3. Spread the Word
Invite your friends to join the challenge and share with them why you believe it is important to raise awareness of obesity. Use the hashtag #UWS2017 on twitter to let others know you are taking a step to fight obesity.
Once you have registered you will have access to your own personal fundraising page. Share this page with your friends via social media and ask them to consider making a donation to support you or your team. Don't forget every penny you raise will count as ONE step towards your final step count.
