All online registrations include entry into the event, a complimentary Walk from Obesity t-shirt & bag, and an online participant page.
Children under the age of 12 may register for FREE by paper with a registered parent or guardian (See below).
This is a "set your own pace" event. Walk as much or as little as you want.

Funds raised through this event will support the mission of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Foundation, supporting obesity treatment research, education, access to care, and awareness.
We will have a warm-up prior to the walk sponsored by our local gym. We have a "Kiddie Korner" for our young walkers to include face painting and coloring. Bring cash to donate for entry into our raffle prize drawing with items provided from local and national sponsors. There will be food trucks nearby for snacks and eats.
Parking Info: The event meeting place is located behind the hospital facility. Attendees can park for free in the parking garage or the open parking lot behind Professional Building 1. There will be signs directing attendees to event parking and to event check-in. View a map here.
Parking Garage Directions: The parking garage can be accessed from Poppy Drive. Take the second left on Poppy Drive and go straight through patient drop off. The parking garage will be on your right.
Professional Building 1 Parking Lot: The open parking behind Professional Building 1 can be accessed off of North Buckner Blvd.
Online registration is $25 and will be available until Friday, 10/14 at 1:00 PM CST. Please click "Register Now!" and follow the prompts to register online.
Those who register online will automatically receive their very own online participant/fundraising page. Please note: If you do not wish to receive an online fundraising page or are unable to register online, please see the next section, "Registration at the Walk."
Each registered participant (Adult) will receive a WFO shirt and bag at the Walk.
Sizes are available on a first come, first serve basis, and while supplies last!
We encourage all of our participants to be fundraisers and help us meet our event fundraising goal. Please utilize our online fundraising tools to help meet your fundraising goal and/or to invite family and friends to join you at the Walk. You may also sync your fundraising efforts to a Facebook Fundraiser registering. It's the easiest way to fundraise!
Also, while raising money for a great cause, you can win some great prizes, receive achievement badges on your online participant page, and a trophy will be awarded to the top fundraising individual and top fundraising team at the Walk!

Registration will be available at the Walk for $35. On-site registration will open at 8:30 AM. Cash, money order, or check will be accepted as payment for on-site registration.
Plan to register at the Walk? You can still be a fundraiser and win prizes! To collect pledges in person, a printable pledge form is available here. Pledge forms may be turned in at the Walk and will be mailed to the National office on your behalf.
Children under the age of 12 will need to be registered by paper by a parent or guardian whom is also registered. Register children using the paper registration form, which may be accessed in the "Resources" section in your Participant Dashboard after online registration is completed. We also offer an optional coloring contest and the winner will receive a prize at the Walk. Please note: If you wish for your child to be entered into the coloring contest, please print and complete the coloring form prior to the event.
Child participants may receive a bag and a free coloring/activity book while supplies last!
